The novel "War for Peace" is the second book of the cycle "Fools and Heroes." We are looking at a distant future. Earth has become a bargaining chip in the war between two alien civilizations. For the snirgs and vulphonds, humans are like mice bothering in a house the invaders have chosen for themselves. Terrible creatures bred by the conquerors to wipe planets clean destroyed most of Earth’s population. But some people survived. Having built fortifications on the surface of the planet and established colonies in space, they wage what seems like an empty struggle against the mighty conquerors.
The action of the second book takes place on a distant planet where the research laboratory of the vulphonds is located. The alien invaders have enslaved many families of Earth’s inhabitants, and then destroyed all adults and boys, leaving only girls—the most stable subjects for the experiments they conduct. Girls are trained and programmed to become killers and spies. But the "owners" don’t know that their charges have not surrendered and are only waiting for the moment when the deadly skills they have been given will be turned against the enemy—starting their own war.
A war for their own world. Details are in the audiobook.
