“Rulers of the worlds of the Empire, Absorbers, wake up!” Georgy addressed the emergency council as he opened the meeting.

“For five hundred years we have been carefully preparing for an attack by the Absorbers—an immense force that knows no mercy and no barriers, destroying entire galaxies like locusts. The existence of all races of the Empire is under threat. In this situation our main goal—the preservation of life—must be achieved by any means!”

He swept his heavy gaze over the gathered rulers and continued:

“Activate the planetary engines and launch according to the coordinates that have been provided. The retreat will be covered by combat stations and the fleet. Whoever decides to stay—let them stay… The war has begun!”
