“The Water Man” is a science-fiction novel by Vladimir Strelnikov, the first book of the eponymous cycle, in the genre of action fantasy, LitRPG.
Uncle Zahar never thought, not for a second, that he would die while defending his grandchildren—and that he would end up in another world, not just anyone, but a water man.
But to each their own, since fate dealt such a hand—so bring the food. Especially since it’s incredibly interesting—one could even say captivating.
And the main thing is free will—there’s plenty of room for the soul to unfold and the hand to swing. And given plenty at that—you can go and go.
As for the fact that goddesses sometimes flash by, and mermaids are under command… well, even the grandpa never planned to become a water man.
The main thing is to live by conscience, and then—how the crooked path carries you.
