Dmitry is in despair: his young wife Nadenka intends to take the children and run off to her lover. A successful businessman, unable to cope with everyday problems, places all his hopes on private detective Yulia Zemtsova. There’s no criminal aspect to the situation—and Yulia gets herself out of it brilliantly. She lures Nadenka out of the house with a message saying her beloved is in danger, while at Dmitry’s request the nanny Alice takes the children to his mother.
A talented script runs smoothly—until the villain-lover is found murdered, and the many witnesses insist that at the crime scene they saw a lady in a blue coat, in which Nadenka was flaunting…
