World War II. Watchmaker Maximilian Carver transports his family far from the war, to a small seaside town. The house where the family moves in once belonged to people whose son drowned at sea.
The watchmaker’s son, Max, has no idea what kind of evil he, his sister Alisia, and their new friend Roland— the grandson of the old lighthouse keeper—will have to face. They will have to uncover what the old shipwreck hides, what the abandoned sculpture garden hides, and the film reels shot by a boy who has long been dead.
