Maksim Serov has already managed to do a lot: unite tribes, found a settlement, build a ship, and repel numerous enemy attacks. With the help of his friends and comrades, Maksim leads his people, the Rus, toward civilization by introducing new developments and achievements. They’ve mastered steel and cast iron; agriculture and animal husbandry are developing.
Our fellow countryman—an astronaut—managed to escape from Neanderthal captivity and, after long adventures, reach a loving family and a devoted tribe. But the settlement of Plazh, founded on the migration path of Cro-Magnons from Africa to Europe, will always be threatened by danger. And Max makes a decision to colonize the islands in order to protect his family.
