From his mother, Michael inherited a rebellious Irish heart; from his father, German pedantry. He is only twenty, and he has a dream: to break out of his impoverished life and become a stuntman. But for now, he has to work in his father’s auto workshop to save money.

A chance meeting with James allows Michael to see in real life the world he wants— the world of luxury and wealth. James has everything Michael lacks: he’s handsome, rich, erudite, studying at a prestigious college.
