Three of our contemporaries—young men with certain knowledge in science and technology—are working on a time machine. Their efforts finally have partial success: the machine is built, it works, but no one yet knows how to control it.
An unheard-of carousel of times and peoples begins. The friends fight the fascists near Vyazma, take part in the attack of the Rus on Subedei’s Tatar encampments on the banks of the Kalka. But there is one more moment they still don’t know about: for those detours and ruptures they made in the flow of time, they will have to pay a costly price.
