Euphoria was what filled my mind as I stepped barefoot onto the grass. The evening dew chilled my feet, intensifying the feeling. Trees flashed before my eyes. Around me there was silence—deafening silence. Everything doubled in my vision. I laughed and walked on. A feeling of weightlessness filled me. The innocently white dress they had forced onto me fluttered with every step, not restraining its movements. Some kind of medieval robe—ritual, even. I didn’t even know such things still existed.
