Strange things have been happening in the Zone for some time now. Whole territories disappear, and others appear in their place. In the forests, previously unseen mutants are spotted more and more often. And behind it all, you can sense the consequences of an unsuccessful scientific experiment. Everything must be fixed by an expedition whose leader—taking into account all the mistakes made earlier—is ready for any surprises. But in the Zone, you can’t foresee everything, even if there’s a whole armored train at hand. And where, in a desperate fight for their own interests, irresponsible scientists, greedy bandits, and stalkers collide, any victory may turn out to be Pyrrhic.
