The Spook's Apprentice

At 13, Tom Ward becomes an apprentice to a Witcher and begins to learn all the hardships of this profession. Through ignorance and inexperience in the witcher craft, he inadvertently helps a very powerful witch—Mama Malkin—escape from her imprisonment in a pit. Realizing what mistake he has made and what it could mean for innocent people, Tom decides to track down the witch and fight her, no matter what it costs him.
