In Stockholm, several women are brutally murdered. The state murder investigation commission under Torкилль Högglund has hit a dead end.
These murders are identical to those committed by Edward Hynde, the serial killer who was jailed fifteen years ago by police psychologist Sebastian Bergman. That is where Hynde currently is, in the strict-regime prison “Lövhäga.”
Sebastian no longer works in the police, but he demands to be allowed to take part in the investigation. Soon he realizes that the murders are connected in a way he couldn’t even imagine.
