An experienced police colonel—already retired—ends up in the hospital after he protected an unfamiliar young man and was stabbed—this is the second time in his life. His first wound happened back in 1976, when he served as a local district officer.
Now he will have to face himself in the role of a young police lieutenant and become a district officer again in the settlement of Pankino, known as “Kill-town.”
He stands before a choice: simply go with the flow, or try to change the course of events.
