Secretary Wanted. Intimacy Not Offered

“I need a personal secretary, not a girl dreaming of getting into my bed!” he cuts straight in.

“Damn it, I need this job!” And then a crazy idea flashes in my head. Losing is no longer an option, so I blurt it out—almost choking on my own lie:

“I’m… well, my orientation—khem, it’s wrong!”

A pause. Will he believe me or not?

“So as a man, you don’t find me attractive?” he looks at me thoughtfully.

“You’re objectively very beautiful, but no,” I lower my eyes and, freezing, wait for his reaction.
