The head of the Russian delegation, Farhad Seidov, conducting important negotiations in Iraq, discovered that Israel’s intelligence was using him “in the dark.” An elusive terrorist, al-Rashidi, is expected to contact him. A missile launched in response to a radio beacon signal embedded in Farhad’s ring will destroy the dangerous criminal. But Seidov will also die—those are the inevitable costs of such a complex operation.

This option doesn’t suit either Seidov or his assistant, Alena Sizykh, an officer of the External Intelligence Service. They do everything to get out of this dirty game. But the Israeli agent planted within the Russian delegation does everything to ensure the operation succeeds. The situation becomes completely unpredictable when al-Rashidi himself intervenes.
