The Interpreter. Bloody Showdown. Series 1

Egor’s life has finally become calmer and fallen into a familiar rhythm, but he overlooked one obvious truth: for a person in his position, there is always no shortage of ill-wishers. And no matter how things look—everything is set right, order has been restored—troubles still won’t let go. If you’ve chosen the path of serving the state, someone is sure to appear for whom you’re an obstacle, and they won’t stop at anything to clear you out of the way. Egor will have to understand this from his own experience.
