The Dark Souls clan has fallen apart; everyone is busy with their own affairs, mostly perfectly legal ones. Technological progress is moving forward confidently. Vorm (just released from an ordinary prison for attempted murder), Jet (working as an instructor at a hired-soldier school), and Rinat (going out of his mind from boredom) decide to kidnap an employee of the corporation “Vulhold”—in whose head there is something that interests one underground clinic.
