In the endless depths of the Langjökull glacier, a frozen body of a businessman is found—someone who vanished without a trace thirty years earlier. Back then, the crime remained unsolved. The police have nothing left to do but arrest again the seriously ill suspect Hjálftalin, who at the time could not be put behind bars. Konrad, a retired policeman, resumes his own investigation—one that has tormented him for decades. Before his death, Hjálftalin asks Konrad to find the real killer and avenge everything that has been tormenting his soul. When, at night, a drunk woman arrives at Konrad’s place with strange terrifying information received from her tragically deceased brother, a new lead finally appears—one that could lead to the true criminal.
