The last day before classes begin at the University is, as always, chaotic and pointless. There’s hustle and bustle everywhere. Like they’re on fire, servants of the students run around, hauling their masters’ belongings to the assigned rooms, bump into each other nonstop, flinch at the roar of the administrator and his cursing assistants as they prepare the castle for the arrival of students. Even the teacher—normally dignified—seems to have caught the general mood and moves around the courtyard and galleries almost like he’s running. Well, yes, just like always.
