A young man, a contract tank crewman, dies during the first assault on Grozny—but his consciousness somehow ends up in the body of a young girl who died from a severe concussion on the first day of the war. Unknown who mocked our hero so cruelly by putting him in a woman’s body. Yes, our hero ended up in the Great Patriotic War, but now he’s in a woman’s body and doesn’t have to go to the front. Knowing how events will unfold, he can quite possibly leave for the city that will not be occupied and won’t be bombed by the enemy. Who would judge him for that—who knows, who he really is. But our hero doesn’t want such a fate, and since he’s ended up in the Great Patriotic War—even in a woman’s body—he won’t miss his chance to fight. And since he’s a tanker, he will fight in a tank, the most fearsome tank of the war’s early period: the heavy breakthrough KV-1.
Author’s notes:
A number of books combined into a cycle where the main characters, having found themselves in the Great Patriotic War—or before it—try to change history. Different people, different starting conditions, but one goal—Anti-Blitzkrieg. You can listen in any order.
