The Secret of the Witch's Forest

For many years, legends have circulated about this place: people say that the local peasants brutally murdered a family that once lived in a wealthy estate in the middle of the Witch’s Forest, accusing the young bride—brought from a foreign country—of witchcraft against ordinary people. But after her killing, death in the surrounding area did not end. Instead, rumors began to spread more and more often that the ghost of the unfortunate but furious woman was taking revenge on ignorant people, sparing neither adults nor children.

And now, once again in the Witch’s Forest and nearby, desiccated, bloodless bodies are found, and the police have not a single clue—until it turns out that something similar happened here exactly forty years ago, and most likely forty years before that as well.

But if the murderer is also found to have been dead for a long time, how can you stop him—and not become his final victim in this bloody cycle?

The first book in the “Dark Secrets of the Past” series.
