Jay has always been a loner, trying to survive in a damnably dangerous world that’s been nearly destroyed by invaders. If anyone had told him he would become the founder of a new state, he would’ve laughed at such a fool. But the Universe has its own plans, in which ordinary people are assigned the role of nothing more than passive observers. The planet is now free, but it’s no longer the familiar world for people.
