Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror

Uncle Montagu lives in an old strange house beyond the woods, and the only thing that breaks his solitude is the visits of his nephew. It is to him that Uncle tells his terrifying stories—stories that are either invented, or really happened to Uncle himself when he was younger. The more we learn the details, the more we are inclined to think that all the characters existed for real and that all the stories are based on actual events.
