I long ago left the job of the Carrier, taking the position of assistant to the head of the Organization. I didn’t plan on returning to my old work, but the request left in the system forced me to get behind the wheel in order to make the long journey in search of a little girl. Can I help the one who ended up in my car—and get out without loss?

The desire to find my daughter led me to the Organization, whose services are available only to the chosen. Despite my doubts, one of the Carriers decided to accept my order.
