The police receive a tip about a short video clip: someone secretly filmed a woman through a window. The next morning, they find her dead. Soon another clip arrives—with a new victim. And then another, just minutes before the killing.
The police can’t get a lead on the killer, who acts with extreme cruelty: in all victims, their faces have been slashed with a knife, as if the criminal wanted to erase them. To stop the chain of terrifying, illogical at first glance murders, Commissioner Margo Silverman takes charge—this is her first independent investigation. The case would have gone nowhere if not for Yona Linna, whom everyone believed to be dead. Strangely, psychiatrist Erik Maria Barke is also involved—he ends up with a very unexpected role in this grim story.
