Snow Maiden in Bed

Well, I’m an idiot! How could I mess up like that?

It’s some kind of special idiotic talent. And I’m lucky it didn’t land me in prison.

Because breaking into a rich house on New Year’s night is a crime.

But then trying to open a safe while wearing the little Snow Maiden costume you found there—wearing a crown and all—that’s mocking a work of art. The crown is clearly a work of art. And the costume, decorated with stones and fur, too.

But the costume didn’t survive the bold hands of the owner, who suddenly returned. So I’m not going to take responsibility for it.

And yet I have to rip the crown out of my hair and return it.
