Troubled Times

Lieutenant Chekhov’s actions aimed at reviving the Empire are liked by far from all leaders of the former colonies—especially those who came to power as a result of military coups. They have their own plans for the future order of the world, and there is no place for the utopian dreams of the former imperial paratrooper. The Gliese star system is subjected to an unexpected attack and looting by a powerful squadron of former “good neighbors,” who for some reason have absolutely no shortage of fuel for their warships. Admiral Yamada is rushing to prepare the defense of the planet of the Indeyetsia Epsilon, and asks for help from the recently created Union State of People and Jangors.
