A few months have passed since the palace conspiracy was uncovered and a number of its participants were destroyed, but investigator Hector Pride continues to follow the conspirators, unraveling the web they spun. The investigation leads him to a blind shamaness, Tayra. The meeting becomes fateful: before the ruthless investigator, a question suddenly arises—duty or the call of the heart.
