A Trail on Wet Asphalt

After a workday, engineer-designer Igor Panteleyevich Pozharsky became the victim of an accident when a car hit him right in front of his son Kolya’s eyes. The car— a "Pobeda"— quickly sped away from the scene, and his father’s briefcase disappeared.

Witnesses claimed that it wasn’t a "Pobeda" but an "emka"—and that the driver was a man in a military uniform.

Kolya and his friends decided to conduct their own investigation to figure out this mysterious accident.
