The Taint

Ignis and Kama—the prince and princess of the small kingdom of Lapis—are forced to wander in search of salvation. The ancient land, named after the world-destroyer Anzidu the Radiant, is gradually sinking into chaos. From the north, deranged raiding hordes roll in. In the south, nomads stir and boil. In the east, temple-dwellers in white proclaim the redemption from evil. The dead come to life. In the underground dungeons left behind by the toppled destroyer, its corruption is fermenting.
