Humor can be painfully hurtful. Especially when a prankster underestimates how much damage such jokes can do to the person who, without intending it, becomes the victim. What can be said about the very same Gods who also love to joke? After all, to them, the same people are just pieces on a chessboard. That’s a complicated question. Because many such jokers, accustomed over time to their peculiar impunity, completely forget that not everyone can appreciate this kind of humor. And for some, it may seem downright insulting and painful. Who of them takes into account the feelings, opinions, or interests of certain insects that they can squash with a single snap of their fingers by the tens of thousands? An even harder question is how to protect yourself from such pranks—since the Gods definitely don’t expect that someone might be offended by their “innocent” jokes…
