The Saga of Conan. Volume 6. Conan the King

The Saga of Conan. Volume 6. Conan the King

6 hrs. 1 min.
Pure heroic fantasy about the adventures of Conan the barbarian from Cimmeria, who goes from a bandit, thief, pirate, and adventurer to becoming a commander and king. Along the way Conan battles sorcerers, monsters, killers, and priests of dark cults; he wins fame as a great fighter and the love of beautiful women; he hunts for untold treasures to spend them with pleasure—everything set against a pseudo-historical world that, according to Howard, once existed on Earth. Stories about Conan were written in the style of classic adventure prose—above all, G. R. Haggard and E. R. Burroughs; in some works you can feel the influence of R. Kipling, and partly, F. Nietzsche. For all their naivety and simplicity, Howard’s tales stand out from the many “Conans” thanks to their lightness and genuine enthusiasm for the topic—so they can spark interest even to this day.
