"Russian War. 1854" is a novel by Anton Emelyanov and Sergey Savinov, the first book in the cycle “The Crimean War,” in the genres of alternate history, time travel/isekai, and historical adventure.

In our world, it’s called the Crimean War; the French call it the Eastern War; the English—Russian. Someone even uses the term Zero World War, and there’s something to that, because the fighting wasn’t only in Crimea. The Danube, the Black Sea coast, the Caucasus, the Sea of Azov, the Baltic, the North, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In this war, one way or another, all the great powers of the 19th century were involved; it was then that weapons of a new generation were used for the first time. Sail gave way to steamboat, wood to steel, a smoothbore barrel to rifling, a flying horse to the telegraph. A real military revolution—one that, above all, the people of the time weren’t ready for, since they hadn’t yet come to terms with the new possibilities. Isn’t it the perfect time to send a guest from the 21st century here?
