Much here resembles Earth, yet there are also many differences.

A virgin planet or a parallel world? Perhaps we cannot find an answer to this question for our contemporaries. One thing remains—to try to survive, remembering everything you were once taught or everything you’ve heard. It all seems like a lot, and living out the rest of your days—perhaps with relative comfort—doesn’t seem like an impossible task. But is that the main thing?

A moment comes when you, like Caesar, approach an inconspicuous little stream and have to make a vitally important decision. The Rubicon. This boundary, at least once in a lifetime, stands before every person—and only from them depends whether to cross that invisible line or step back.
