Aleksey Meshchersky went on a trip to Hollywood, where he made a film. It looks like that was his success and worldwide recognition. But not everything is so simple. The hero is at a crossroads, thinking about his future: should he get involved in the economy, which would inevitably mean interference in politics? And on top of that, many ill-wishers have become active again—people to whom the director stepped on their toes on the path to success.
