You know those stories where the villain makes his move, the heroes bravely stand up to him, and at the end there are salutes and kisses?

I, Quinn the Crystal, have nothing to do with those stories. First, my ex-husband has disappeared, and I’m being accused of his murder (not that I never thought about it, but still, I’m not that jealous). Second, his brother is blackmailing me, and I have to follow his rules in a game where there is no victory for me.

Third, no one has canceled work—and besides that, I’ve firmly decided to finally become happy. And for happiness I need only a small thing: get rid of my feelings for my ex and find the real one. And that, of course, is the hardest part.
