Divorce. Starting Over

After last night’s hangout with my girlfriends, I have a little bit of amnesia. The last clear memory: my husband confessed that for the past four months he’s been cheating on me with that famous actress—and that he wants to divorce me for her. I turn on the TV, and there—there’s a sensation: that very famous actress was beaten up the night before and stabbed. A bright flash in front of my eyes, and I remember how I was running around the apartment in tears, screaming, "I’ll kill her!" That’s how a gentle quiet woman exploded like an atomic bomb. I’m terrified to even imagine what could have happened yesterday. In my head there are only two thoughts: "I hope she survives. And I hope she wasn’t the one I tried to kill."
