Investigation on a Ship

Ten-year-old Tally is a servant in the beautiful Mollet estate. All day she washes, polishes, and brings the huge house to a shine—and while no one is looking, she learns to read! Tally has a faithful friend: a squirrel named Tailtip. Together they live more cheerfully, and they unravel the oddities happening in the estate! Tally sets off on a real adventure by ship! Together with her father, Lord Mollet, she sails aboard the largest ship in the world to America to search for her mother. But on board, a thief appears. Precious jewels and other valuable things are missing! Even Tailtip’s collar—the puppy of the Mollet family—has been stolen. Tally can’t stand aside, and she and Tailtip set out to find the thief!
