Once you’ve been on the edge of life and death, no one remains the same. Something in a person will undoubtedly change. It can be appearance, the voice’s intonation, actions they never took before. But most importantly—thoughts. Consciousness and worldview change.
Once a master told me about it, and only now I realized what he was trying to tell me. Into the world returns not the old drifter, but a new traveler who must finish what they began. And so I, too, must accept my new self and finally find the long-awaited happiness.
