Fifteen

Fifteen is the third book in Andrey Shopp(e)rt’s series about the adventures of a man from our present day—a former tanker and screenwriter, Konstantin Ivanovich—who finds himself in the body of a teenager, Kasian, in the 14th century.
The main character is already fifteen. He has grown older, matured, and is ready for new trials. This time, fate drops Kasian into Trubchevsk—a small but strategically important town on the border between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Principality of Moscow, on the eve of the terrible invasion by Khan Tokhtamysh.
In 1382, Moscow has not yet recovered from the Battle of Kulikovo, and new clouds of invasion are already gathering on the horizon. Armed with the knowledge and experience of a man from the future, Kasian finds himself right at the epicenter of events. He must not only survive, but also find his place in a world where war, treachery, and despair coexist with friendship, love, and hope.
A young doctor and crossbowman must become the commander of a partisan unit defending Trubchevsk against the retinue of Prince Korybut Olgerdovich. Night raids, ambushes in ravines, crossbow fire at the enemy camps—this all becomes his school of survival. And perhaps it is he who is destined to play his part in the defense of Trubchevsk—one of those battles that remained in the shadow of the great campaigns, yet determined the fate of Rus'.
