Ivan Shchukin is a Russian writer who works across different branches of science fiction. We present, in audio format, the second book from his series “Boyar Honor.” Genre: action fantasy. A popular subgenre is “boyar/anime.” This series can be considered to have a prequel novel, “The Second Life of the Archmage.” Yesterday’s archmage ends up in another world, where he’s a teenager—completely devoid of magical abilities. His own weakness after his former might—someone else’s fault—would have driven him to despair. But the hero’s memory of his previous strength and the difficult path to achieving it is still fresh. Which means that in this world, too, he will do everything to become stronger, step by step. The main thing is not to stray from his path, even though it won’t be easy—because the boyar from the Dёmin family has a great many enemies. And, most interestingly, mostly from his own family.
