«What Is a Film About?» is the final part of the trilogy about life in the famous Tolstoy House. A new generation will have to sort out family values and understand what in this life is truly important. When an era comes to an end, the world around collapses, and ahead there is only darkness of the unknown: will there be a family untouched by change? One that will keep its relationships and won’t be altered under pressure? Unlikely. Even the most successful princess (wealth, career, husband-professor) will have her carriage turned into a pumpkin. Problems will level her with a friend who has debts, communal housing, and an unsuccessful husband. Then life will shuffle the deck of fates once again and deal new cards for their children. But the most important thing will remain unchanged.
