This is urban fantasy close to science fiction. Don’t be put off by the introduction—just stick with it. It simply explains what happened in the world. Without it, it will be hard to understand the novel’s structure.
The events take place in a scientific-magical institute. The main heroine is a girl named Eva, a student who has been dealt no shortage of troubles. The book tells about her life, her studies, and about the people who help her—and, in her own way, torment her. The main male lead is precisely from among the latter. The world of the novel is quite harsh. But in the narrative there is also humor and irony. All the characters are very alive, vivid.
From the reciter: I really like this series. Even more than that. The characters come to me in dreams and demand that I give them voices faster. I hope you won’t stay indifferent either.
