Power seizes Tobias’s mother, Evelyn. Suddenly, the truth bursts out. It turns out the city isn’t an ideally structured society, but a “reality show.” The puppet masters are mysterious people hiding behind a fence. The third part begins. Tris and Tobias, together with a group of friends, choose to go beyond their home. They want to learn the truth and find freedom. But they end up straight in… the Genetic Protection Bureau. They are met by Bureau employees — because it’s they who have been watching over their subjects since birth. The new reality is also “biting.” It turns out that in the past there was a genetic War for Purity. As a result, the world was divided into “genetically pure” and “genetically damaged” individuals. And the scientists turned into obsessive monsters and began experimenting: creating artificial settlements and implanting their agents into them. The main goal for the test subjects is to serve as disposable material and produce “genetically pure” offspring.

Tris is outraged to the core; Tobias rushes about searching for himself and gets tangled in yet another mess. And once again, the scientists at the Bureau are dissatisfied. They intend to arrange a “reset,” meaning to erase the memory of all city residents. Tris and the others decide to prevent the catastrophe!.. Who will win?
