The Right to Search

The collection includes two novellas about the adventures of the brothers Roy and Heinrich Vasiliev: “The Right to Search” and “The Fire That Is Always in You.”

“The Right to Search” 3:12:00 — Roy Vasiliev is an astrophysicist, an expert on space, and a detective specializing in investigating unexplored phenomena and mysterious incidents. He arrives on Urania to find out the causes of the explosion of concentrated water and the death of the head of one of the projects—Pavel Koval.

“The Fire That Is Always in You” 0:40:00 — Albert Simagin, who constructed a device that amplifies electrical potentials in the human brain, unexpectedly dies. The last people he saw before his death were the Vasiliev brothers. The inventor’s death was horrific: his body was twisted by a brutal seizure, his limbs were contorted, but on his face there was an expression of happiness—like he was rejoicing and glad about his death. Something was wrong here. Roy and Heinrich Vasiliev decide to dig until they reach the truth.
