The Last Arena

Power, order, law—everything collapsed in an instant. The death toll is counted in billions. Out of the infernal abyss, monsters emerged and swept across all of humanity with a deadly sweep.

Although I’m getting ahead of myself… Let’s start over.

Allow me to introduce myself: Andrey Frolov. One and a half years ago I was a thriving office plankton. Then—hiding from the law and obsessed with revenge, a homeless invalid. And now I’m—like all people—one of the participants in the selection for the Arena.

By sheer coincidence I found out that we need to identify 947 of the best fighters, and then trample the enemy down with a friendly crowd. Simple, right? Not so! Against us will come warriors hardened by endless battles and who have taken part in thousands of fights. They are ancient, wise creatures that know no mercy or pardon. The enemy is smart, the enemy is cunning, the enemy is strong. And yes: we—cowardly, clueless fools—fight exactly against them. Do we have a chance? Not even funny. But we have no choice—the fate of three hundred worlds is on the line.
