Lieutenant of the Russian Army Maxim Baranov has already managed to fight in “hot spots,” get wounded, and then settle “in the rear,” where out of boredom he got carried away with military-historical reenactment. But during another field trip, an emergency happens: drunk to amazement with his fellow officers, the lieutenant wakes up in a trench under howitzer fire.
