Portrait of the Second Wife

Not many Cinderella-like girls who dream of a wonderful prince think that he might be married. In the worst case, the object of their dreams is “allowed” to have a wife—an unpleasant, unworthy one.

But what should a young provincial girl, Liza Uspenskaya, do when she finds out that the wife of the man she loves is his first love—tied to his best childhood and youth memories?

Resolving this question turns out to be even harder for Liza than fitting into the harsh realities of metropolitan life.
