After another string of unsuccessful relationships, Ariana throws herself into work until she drives herself into emotional burnout. She has a strange dream that terrifies her to the point of trembling: an unfamiliar girl is held captive, her hands and feet are tied, and in the air you can sharply feel the approach of imminent death. Following the advice of a psychologist, Ariana takes a vacation and goes to Malta to rest.

However, after returning, the dream of the tortured captive girl comes back—and later it turns out the same dream is happening to three other people too.
