The third book in the “Planet of Men” cycle.
A stream of women onto Efion doesn’t stop, the king is out of his mind, and the queen unexpectedly discovered an “interesting” relative. And Inessa is also pregnant. But all these problems pale compared to the fact that the Lake of Life suddenly stops working for its intended purpose. What the former retirees will do about it won’t be a banal epiphany from above.
WARNING: The cliches from the genre are still there. The author continues to use works by other authors of this genre for moral support, and keeps insistently “purring” at her cat about its supposed wings. And, in passing, she hopes that this animal will grow a little bigger.
